Lionel Messi has been on the news in the past few days after handing a transfer request to his boyhood club Barcelona.
And despite having all of his investments in the city of Catalonia, the 33-year-old has asked to leave the Camp Nou.
One of the things Messi will have to forfeit is his £5.5million mansion located in the exclusive suburb of Castelldefels.
The luxury house has a small football pitch, a swimming pool, an indoor gym, a playground for his three children as well as the incredible sight of the Balearic Sea.
Another of Messi’s huge life’s investments that would be left behind is his £26m worth hotel in the coastal town of Sitges.
A night in one of the 77 bedrooms costs £105 and there is a rooftop Sky Bar that has the views of the town and the Mediterranean Sea.
The hotel also has a spa that features a sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers, a recreational pool, a cold plunge tub and a saltwater pool.
Messi will not be able to take all of his four wheels away worth £3m to the city of Manchester, Paris or Milan depending on the club he chooses to play for.
His Maserati, Ferrari F43 Spider, GranTurismo, Audi, Range Rover Sport are among his supercars that will remain parked in his garage for a while.
The state-of-the-art £65m Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training ground will also be a place that will remain in Messi’s heart.
Messi and his teammates usually use the gym, sauna, and a full-sized pool to recuperate after a hard day’s work.
Barcelona is a place Messi would forever have in his heart because it was where he married his childhood sweetheart Antonella Ruccozzo and gave birth to his three sons Thiago, Mateo and Ciro
