Embattled Lione Messi will reportedly show up at Barcelona training on Monday ahead of their preparation for the new season.
The six-time Ballon d’Or winner surprised the world after handing the club of his decision to leave them this summer.
Having spent over 17 years at the club, the Argentine is opened to starting afresh elsewhere despite having lesser years to play.
Although he felt he could leave on a free transfer owing to the cluse included in his contract, the club however told him that privilege has elapsed after the season ended.

SunSport reports that his representatives have urged him to join the rest of the team next week to avoid giving the Catalan giants more leverage on him in the pending legal battle between them.

The Sun quoting TyC Sports revealed that Messi will be avaliable when Barca begin pre-season training on Monday – despite previous indications that he wouldn’t.
Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman will be expected to decide on his relationwhip with the 33-year-old after their initial discussion ended up unfruitful.
He will either allow him join the rest of the squad or train all by himself but the latter could further put his future at the Camp Nou into jeopardy.
Having revealed he wants to leave this summer, the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Inter Milan are interested in signing the six-time Ballon d’Or winner.
City have an advantage over others in the chase for the Argentine with Pep Guardiola and Sergio Aguero set to play a major role in his switch.
He played under the Spaniard at Barcelona and Aguero shares the dressing room with him at the national team level.
Mundo Deportivo’s Francesc Aguillar claiming that City chief executive Ferran Soriano believes that his side will successfully swoop in and take the six-time Ballon d’Or winner for free.
Barcelona have previously insisted that they will demand his £630million release clause in full if they are to sell their star asset.
But City chiefs are confident that they can negotiate this fee down, if needs be.
