Man Becomes Associate Professor In Cyprus Despite Negative Prophecy

A Nigerian man identified as Ifeanyi Obi has narrated how he upturned a negative prophecy spoken over him when he was eight years.

Obi took to his Instagram page to disclose that he recently gained his academic promotion as an associate professor of construction technology from the American University of Cyprus.

The young man said after the negative prophecy, he made a promise to himself to upturn it, adding that people should not let others decide their fate.

He wrote on his Instagram page: “A prophet boldly declared that I will never achieve anything academically rather I should look into doing business. I did look into business but I also choose to pursue one thing I always loved- Teaching and Learning irrespective of what a prophet said.”

Obi, who said he did not allow the prophecy to take his dreams and aspirations away, disclosed that he has pioneered a software that is endorsed in the United Kingdom and Europe.

He continued: “Yes, you have the power to alter any prophecy on your life. Let me not forget to tell you that I am the first Associate Professor in this field of a Nigerian decent and the youngest in Africa.”

Obi implored people not to succumb to negative words over their lives, no matter from whose mouth such prophecy is coming.

In other news, a Nigerian man who arrived Canada as a student five years ago has taken to Twitter to share his success story.

The man identified as Tunde Omotoye said he arrived Canada five years ago as a student who was unsure of what the future had for him in the North American country.

Despite the uncertainty, he revealed that he has launched his own company five years after leaving the shores of Nigeria.
