More than 11 thousand people unknowingly watched a wrong Paris Saint Germain vs Bayern Munich game online in Sunday, August 23, online, thinking it was the Champions League final.

A YouTube channel had live-streamed a 2017 match involving both teams which was different from the original one which Kingsley Coman became the hero.

Thousands missed out on the match-winning moment as they were busy watching likes of Frank Ribery and James Rodriguez as they battled the French team to victory that year. Mbappe got the consolation goal in a game that ended 3-1.

“Did they not question why 75,000 fans were present in the stadium?” a fan questioned – as reactions continued to trail the situation with fans branding it ‘hilarious’.

“Have 11,000 people failed to question why fans are in the stadium?” a fan queried on Twitter.

Another added: “11,285 people trying to figure out why Frank Ribéry and Dani Alves are on the pitch in 2020”

Bayern, who have enjoyed a scintillating campaign stunned Neymar’s Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in Lisbon on Sunday night, August 23, to win the European title.
