Luis Suarez could be axed at Catalan club Barcelona as the Spanish outfit continue their quest to keeping legendary Lionel Messi at the club as the star has hinted he could leave.
Barcelona are currently rebuilding the squad, no thanks to their embarrassing 8-2 Champions League defeat in the hands of German champions Bayern Munich.
Upon the sack of manager Quique Setien and the arrival of new boss Ronald Koeman, Messi reportedly told the new tactician that he no longer sees his future at the club.

And in a bid to keep the Argentine, reports have it that Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic have emerged shocking transfer priorities for the club during the summer transfer window.
Quique was sacked following their Champions League exit and new manager Koeman will be looking to injecting his own philosophy at the club with Suarez and Rakitic’s stay threatened.
Both players joined in 2014 and have won four La Liga titles, four Copa Del Reys and one Champions League. Suarez is the club’s third all-time top goalscorer with 198 goals and he is good friends with Lionel Messi.
Luis Suarez could be following the path of Lionel Messi as the Uruguayan has reportedly asked the Barcelona board to let him know if he is also up for sale or not.
It is however unclear if Suarez will be put up for sale but latest reports have it that Dutch club Ajax are plotting a £13.5million bid for striker who has reportedly asked Barcelona to let him know his fate.
The 33-year-old remains in the dark about his future at the Nou Camp and he was seen in an interview with EL Pais furious with the club for lack of communication.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Lionel Messi could be reuniting with former team-mate Neymar as latest reports have it that French club and Champions League finalists Paris Saint Germain are set to battle for the Argentine’s signature.
The pair played at the Camp Nou for four years together and although Neymar is hoping to return to Barcelona, now Messi could move to join him.
However, the French club will be facing off with Juventus and Inter Milan who are also interested in the legend.
