A few days after the release of his album, it was announced that Burna Boy is making waves on Spotify, a Swedish music streaming and media service provider.

According to Spotify, Burna Boy is the African Artiste with most monthly listeners on Spotify.

Charts Africa stated that the singer has over 14 million people listening to the musician’s music monthly.

In other news, earlier reported that Nigerians dragged Burna Boy for saying that he is the best after Fela.

The Odogwu crooner said that he is the one responsible for the respect Nigerians currently enjoy. According to him, nobody paved the way for him. He further stated that he learnt long ago from another singer, Timaya, that the world can live without the best.

Many Nigerians were not impressed by his statement. A set of people described the singer as being arrogant and they rejoiced that he did not even win the Grammy he was nominated for. Others, however, said he is right to feel he is the next best thing after Fela.
